JAE BAR PHASMA – 2018 Red Roan Mare
Yes, we know she looks sorrel in pictures (especially in her winter coat) but not only is Phasma a true red roan, she is also homozygous for roan!! (She was quite a bit lighter when she was younger.) So being homozygous, every one of her foals is guaranteed to be roan. We raised her dam, then later sold her to the Pitzer Ranch. Her granddam, Mia Peppy Roan, we got from Sunup Ranch in MN (the oldest and largest Quarter horse breeders in MN).

Grandsire: Grays Starlight. Grays Starlight, By Peppy San Badger and out of Doc’s Starlight, was born in 1984. He was an exemplary performer, earning over $35,000 in National Cutting Horse Association earnings. But as a breeding stallion, he was even more exceptional.
Grays Starlight has sired many outstanding offspring, including the 2003 Snaffle Bit Futurity Open Bridle Champion, Starlight Playmate. He has surpassed the Million Dollar Sire Mark in both Reining and Cutting, with total offspring earnings over $10 Million. Although this great stallion has been deceased since October of 2002, his memory lives on in his exceptional offspring.
