Jim Wilkins has been showing cutting horses for over 30 years.  He is one of the highest money earning trainers in the state of Nebraska, winning $178,749 in NCHA money!  Friends have always called him "The Iceman" for the way he shows his horses.

He is also a NCHA, AAA Judge.

Even though Jim is 6'4 he has always had so much balance on a horse, he just seems to melt with them.  I would really encourage you to watch Jim show a horse that he has trained.  Watch the horse's expression.  You should be able to see that the horse is not doing what he is doing out of fear, but out of respect, and love of the sport!  Jim has always been great at reading a horse, and teaching them to enjoy their work, while still commanding their respect.

Jim is also awesome at breaking colts.  I love to watch the look on their face when they know they have done well, and are proud of what they learned.    He works on teaching them to stay in between the reins, to move off his feet, to be "soft" and collected, and to think!

Rates: $650 a month just to ride.  This includes breaking colts, working with problem horses, etc.

$650 a month for training "our breeding" on cattle.  "Our breeding" would be a horse that you have bought from us, or we own the sire or dam of your horse.  (This pricing does not apply to horses given away in our "Free Horse Program.)

$750 a month for training on cattle.

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me!
